License Agreement

By downloading textures from this website you are agreeing to the following license agreement:

Textures may not be re-published unchanged as downloadable / purchasable textures without prior permission. All other personal and public uses of the textures are permitted!
All web graphics are property of The Fat Strawberry and should not be distributed without permission: this EXCLUDES my link banners but INCLUDES the Strawberry background texture featured on the website.

You can do as you please with the brushes - the only thing I ask is if that you choose to distribute the brushes online or on any other digital media, that you provide a link back to http://www.fatstrawberry.com as a credit for the creation of the brushes.

The previous requirement to add a link back has been scrapped. This site has been online now for 3 and a half years, in that respect it is as established as I think it'll ever be! Of course should you choose to add a link back to The Fat Strawberry then that would be great, but it is no longer a requirement of re-using the textures in the public domain for free or commercial purposes.

General Questions About This License

Can I make Sims downloads using these textures?

Yes you can use them for making Sims custom content, free or pay or for any other game mods!

Can I upload and sell these textures in Second Life?

Second Life users CAN upload/sell textures from this site.

Can I put these textures on my website as downloadable textures?

NO! Not unless hell freezes over or I've specifically given you permission to do so, the textures do need to be used for *something* even if they are simply used as a web background. If you absolutely *must* demonstrate the awesomeness of my work in this fashion then please create a smaller cropped preview to post (i.e. so it does not tile).

Corporate/Professional Terms of Use

Commercial ventures are requested to comply with my general license, i.e. please do not publish my textures as seamless tiling textures, either for free or for sale. Please use them in some other fashion! It does not matter if you are including them as part of a product you are selling, this is fine, and there is no requirement to advertise or link back to the site or get my permission beforehand.

The only restriction is that a number of textures on the site contain derivative elements which do not allow for real world (non digital) re-use of them for commercial purposes. Please contact me and let me know the item numbers (i.e. the fs## code in the item details) and what purpose you wish to use them for and I will let you know which, if any of your selected items cannot be used. If you are publishing your product online or through other digital media, this restriction does not apply.
