License Agreement

By downloading textures from this website you are agreeing to the following license agreement:

*i.e. your links, information or credit page, it does not need to be on the same page as the item that uses the texture or where the texture is seen (i.e. as a web background or similar). If you are sharing an item that uses these textures in a newsgroup or forum then simply including the link in your post is fine.

In short, please give me credit for my work and help me advertise my site to others whenever you use something from here : any questions or requests for exceptions please contact me.

General Questions About This License

Can I make Sims downloads using these textures?

Yes you can use them for making Sims custom content, free or pay or for any other game mods!

Can I upload and sell these textures in Second Life?

Second Life users CAN upload/sell textures from this site only if the notecard that goes with the item includes credit to this website with full URL (www.fatstrawberry.com) for the texture - violators will be reported to Linden Labs!

Can I put these textures on my website as downloadable textures?

Not unless I've specifically given you permission to do so, the textures do need to be used for *something* even if they are simply used as a web background. If someone steals the Fat Strawberry background you've got on your website and posts it as a downloadable texture elsewhere and you become aware of this I'd be grateful if you could let me know the details. Obviously I won't hold you responsible unless you're actively encouraging this type of activity in some way!

I wish to use your textures are part of a product I am selling, is this Ok?

Yes, if you are using the texture for 3D models, games mods, as part of a browsable interface on software or any other purpose where the end product is being traded for money then that is alright BUT a link to The Fat Strawberry must be provided with the item/on the hosting site as per the license agreement above.

Corporate/Professional Terms of Use

ALL digital public use of the textures on this site require a link back as defined above, there is no charge for the use or inclusion of them on a business website or as part of a piece of 3D art which you are selling *however* I would appreciate a contribution towards my costs if at all possible! 

Using patterns from this site for the manufacture of things like fabric, gift wrap, greetings cards or any other real world products MAY require you to purchase a commercial license.

Not all items on the site have this restriction, some can be used free of charge, others cannot be used at all for real world commercial purposes in accordance with the license of certain derivative elements in some of the patterns. 

Please contact me and let me know the item numbers (i.e. the fs## code in the item details) and what purpose you wish to use them for and I'll quote you a price and/or let you know which items cannot be used.
