For this tutorial you need:-
Photoshop - 5.5 upwards (note brushes with resolution greater than 999px require Photoshop CS or higher)
OR The Gimp - which is a free Photoshop style alternative that supports quite a number of key Photoshop Features including Photoshop brushes

Fat Strawberry Brush files are zipped, if you need help opening a zip file please see the Zip tutorial topic. Download the brush file to your computer. There are 2 options for installing the brushes, you can use either!
1. Extract the brush .abr file into your Preset Brushes folder. You can find this in
c:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop\Presents\Brushes
All new installed brushes will be available in your brush set menu the next time you restart Photoshop.
2. Extract the brush .abr file into a working folder of your choice. This could be in your 'My Pictures' folder, or any other place you feel would make an easy to access and remember location to store these files. You can load these up immediately in Photoshop without restarting it. With your brush tool selected, from the Top menu, click on the little rollout arrow and select 'Load Brushes' from the pop out list. Use the browse dialog to find the folder you extracted your brush .abr file to, select the brush set you want to load and click Load. Your brushes will now be in your presets and ready to use.
This is a great option for using brushes that you may not want installed all the time.

The process for adding brushes on a Mac is exactly the same as for Windows, except for method 1 the folder location is somewhat different:-
/Users/{username}/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop/CS#/Presets/Brushes
